Welcome to the Qulliit Nunavut Status of Women Council
Qulliit is an advisory Council of women appointed by the Minister responsible for the Status of Women, the Honourable Minister Margaret Nakashuk. The Council supports changes and advocates for change in issues affecting women, ineducation, health, justice, economic development, housing, employment, leadership and culture.
In supporting women and girls and gender-diverse Nunavummiut to be strong leaders, engaged activists and compassionate community members, we aim to foster better communities. We are open to suggestions and partnerships to serve all Nunavummiut. Let's make a difference together!
